ACID
Music and lyrics by Matt McDaniel
Atomicity, it eludes to our individuality,
but it conflicts with our sense of reality
Are we all one or is it just an anarchy?
And the world isn't just made of me
But everything is composed of something else
Is it strings or is it waves or is it wealth
Now what makes up the things that make yourself?
We're plutonic, but we're probably not atomic
Consistent, well how can we decide for more than just an instant
As time passes by sometimes we miss it
In time we change our minds if we really listen
Mistakes are made to learn to do things differently
But our leaders don't look back the way they should
It's evil in a world we know is good
Now we can't do the things we know we could
It's evil in a world we know is good
Independent, if I decide to try would it make a difference
when you can still defy my whole existence?
Our children have to pledge the same allegiance
And our money comes from all the other regions
Exclusion is never mutual between freinds
But I guess we'll never know it until the end
It's hard to really know when you depend
It's important, but it's not idempotent
Durability, it began when we found out ability
and it ends when we stretch our agility
Are we all wrong with all of our technology?
Will it take long to end this ideology?
But the world is full of souls that don't agree
and suits that boil the see and cut our trees
Now we can't do the things we know we could
It's evil in a world we know is good
Can we endure the things we know we should?
but it conflicts with our sense of reality
Are we all one or is it just an anarchy?
And the world isn't just made of me
But everything is composed of something else
Is it strings or is it waves or is it wealth
Now what makes up the things that make yourself?
